The specialties family of products provides a range of product forms which offer a choice of materials to address a wide range of application problems, such as resistance to hot gas erosion, flame impingement, the ability to be formed into special shapes and configurations, cartier ballon bleu replica installation into blind hot spots and hard-to-insulate areas. These products also possess the advantages inherent with other Fiberfrax® ceramic fiber insulating materials: high temperature resistance, excellent insulating properties, thermal shock resistance, chemical stability, and ease of installation.
MOLDABLE/MOLDABLE AR/MOLDABLE WR
Fiberfrax® Moldable is a composit of Fiberfrax® bulk fibres, organic polymers and inorganic binder. It is pliable, putty like material that is supplied wet & premixed, ready for installation. It provides a smoother texture, enhanced flowability and better finished surface.
The entire family of Fiberfrax® Pumpable is a composit of spun fibres, organic polymers and inorganic binders. Fiberfrax® Pumpables are basically water based pliable putty like materials which are supplied premixed in pails.
Coatings are useful for modular lining where flue gas velocity is very high. They are used on hot face of lining to enhance the erosion and abrasion resistance to the flue gas velocity and protect the fibre from chemical attack. Coatings also improve emissivity of the lining.
A specially developed high temperature adhesive for fibre to fibre and fibre to refractory adhesion.
Fixwool FX is a silicate based adhesive used for adhering Ceramic Fibre products to cold refractory brickwork or steelwork. It is best suited to thin products and die-cut pieces of Blanket, Felt, Paper and Board.
A specially formulated Fiberfrax® Fyreputty made from Fiberfrax® Ceramic Fibre, is a single component fire stop system for sealing the fire in walls, ceilings and floors. A specially formulated product developed for penetration seal. It is used in new and retrofit construction for sealing metal pipes, voids, cable and EMT penetrations.
HS-MASS 1500 family of products was developed by Unifrax to meet the demanding performance requirements of the industry. The use of high performance fibres, refractory oxides and proprietary binder system have significantly improved the physical and thermal characteristics of conventional refractory ceramic fibre product forms.
FIBERFRAX® COATING SPINEL
Coat Spinel is a high temperature coating that provides a range of consistencies for spray and trowel applications.
FIBERFRAX® QF™ COATING
Fiberfrax® QFTM Coating Cements contain ceramic fibres blended with inorganic additives to provide air setting refractory coatings or bonding agents. QF Coating Cements dry to a hard surface which is highly resistant to erosion and flame abrasion.
Fiberfrax® Cathode Cement is a dry mix of ceramic fibres and hydraulic setting binder to which water is added at site and mixed to give a cement like consistency.
Rigidizer is a specially prepared water based colloidal solution used to rigidize / harden the surface of blankets, modules and boards to improve resistance to gas velocity. It can be applied by spraying on the surface of the ceramic fibre products.
